The use of shuttle tables for part intake in mixing and dispensing systems in partly automated operation allows a strict division between the robot danger area and the insertion area corresponding to the “Sonderhoff-SAFETY” safety concept.
The implementation of automatic refill stations for continuous material supply in fully automated production processes doesn't just avoid production down time. They also increase operating comfort and working and system safety.

WT1-Level
Single-level shuttle table
This shuttle table unit permits the single-level processing of parts on two support platforms, which move back and forth. This offers both continuous operation and short cycle times. The table unit consists of a robust chassis section (fitted with adjustable levelling feet), with floor-anchoring points and two moveable aluminium tables with attachment holes for securing the workpiece support or the workpiece itself. This system permits a strict demarcation between the robot operating zone and the machine insertion area, as stipulated by the “Sonderhoff-SAFETY” code of practice.

Automatic refilling-station units
Fully automatic refilling-stations, when used as part of a completely automated manufacturing process, ensure material-specific preparation, homogenous consistency and a continuous supply of material – all with greater operating convenience and increased working and functional reliability. This means that production downtimes are now a thing of the past.
The automatic refilling-station fills the operating tanks of the dosing and mixing units directly from a barrel or other container – without causing exposure to any contaminant or other hazardous substance.
The device is controlled from the dosing and mixing unit, with monitoring provided by level-detection sensors located inside the operating tanks. Agitator mechanisms with programmable agitator speeds and timer-switch functions are used for producing consistently homogenous reactive materials. All refilling-station units can be fitted with different agitator elements to suit the handled material. The system can also easily be added to any existing mixing and dosing production plant.
For additional operating convenience, working consistency and functional reliability, we can also offer refi lling-station units with an automatic lifting mechanism.
